We’re led by Juan Castro. Born of Honduran immigrants, he worked his way to becoming one of San Antonio’s leading immigration attorneys. Juan R. Castro is a distinguished immigration attorney and the founder of Castro Law Firm in San Antonio, Texas. Born in New Orleans to Honduran immigrants, Mr. Castro’s journey from modest roots to becoming a passionate legal advocate exemplifies the resilience and determination at the heart of the immigrant experience.
Mr. Castro earned a Bachelor of Science degree from LeTourneau University, double majoring in Finance and International Business with a minor in Economics. His academic pursuits included international studies in Honduras, Spain, and Austria, enriching his global perspective. He later earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, where he excelled in advocacy and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, recognizing his exceptional advocacy skills.
With over a decade of experience in immigration and nationality law, Mr. Castro dedicates his practice to reuniting families, defending clients in deportation cases, and assisting employers in obtaining foreign workers. His primary practice areas include citizenship and naturalization, permanent residency, deportation defense, and employment-based visas—most notably, the H-2A and H-2B temporary worker programs.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Castro is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the San Antonio Bar Association. He frequently conducts community outreach programs to educate and empower immigrants and employers throughout Texas. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Castro and his family are active members of Oak Hills Church, where they find encouragement, community, and purpose through their faith.

For nearly a decade, Naylil M. Moreno has passionately advocated for immigrants and their families through every step of the legal process. She began her career at Castro Law in 2016 as an immigration paralegal and now helps lead the firm as Managing Attorney.
After earning her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and being admitted to the Texas Bar, Naylil quickly gained recognition for her compassionate, client-centered approach. She brings extensive experience with USCIS, immigration courts, and the Board of Immigration Appeals. She is known for treating every case with the care and dedication she would give her own family.
Naylil’s leadership is shaped by her faith, integrity, and personal connection to the immigrant experience. When clients work with her, they gain more than legal representation — they gain a committed advocate who walks with them every step of the way.
When not in the office or courtroom, you can find Naylil at the park with her two daughters and husband or spending quality time with her close friends and in-laws.
