DACA

DACA is known as the acronym for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. This program helps youth or young adults that are in this nation without legal status, whether because they entered illegally or overstayed a tourist visa. The program allows for these individuals to prove that the circumstances of their entry were not on their own account and allows them a temporary relief to not be considered for deportation proceedings. This temporary relief is extended for two years at a time until renewal is required.
